Abstract
The study intends to elevate just transition as a pillar for establishing the European Green Deal, highlighting the basic triad of economic, social and environmental systems of its conception and the construction of elements such as the Just Transition Mechanism and the Just Transition Fund. The study addresses the need for global governance as a tool for executing, coordinating and implementing the measures established in the Pact, at different levels (such as regional) and with the presence of different actors. The central objective is to analyze the adequacy of just transition policies to the intrinsic element of the EGD, specifically highlighting the importance of global governance as a tool for implementing the guidelines adopted by the European Union. To this end, the deductive method with bibliographic research technique is used in carrying out this research. The main result is the observation that the European Union's evolution in just transition policies depends on the adoption of global governance systems, which can be seen in the application of policies in the national context, at central level in the Member States and in local communities. in the development of regional policies.
