The capture and consumption of elasmobranchs in Santos, Guarujá, and Praia Grande (2018-2020) were analyzed. Data were obtained from www.pesca.sp.gov.br. Modalities and species include: Santos-Guarujá - pair trawl and longline/shortfin mako (Isurus oxyrinchus); blue shark (Prionace glauca); tiger shark (Galeocerdo cuvier); sand tiger shark (Carcharias taurus); longfin mako (Isurus paucus); skate (Atlantoraja and Rioraja); angel shark (Squatina); hammerhead (Sphyrna); shark (Carcharhinus); ray (Rhinoptera); guitarfish (Rhinobatos and Zapteryx). In Praia Grande, the gear used includes gillnets for hammerhead and sharpnose shark (Rhizoprionodon).
