Abstract

The present study aims to use Raman spectroscopy to identify the peaks referring to the active pharmaceutical ingredient (IAF) dipyrone in reference medicines (Novalgina) and generics (EMS and Medley) in 500 mg tablets and 500 mg drop solutions. mg/mL, analyzing tablet samples both inside and outside the blisters. The results indicated that Raman spectroscopy proved to be effective in identifying IAF in drop and tablet formulations, even though blisters, confirming the presence of the active ingredient as declared on the labels and the invariability of the formulation of generic medicines compared to the reference, reinforcing the quality and bioequivalence of the generics analyzed.
