This study aims to analyze how injuries and health problems resulting from sports practice affect the structure and stability of athletes' family relationships and, consequently, their mental health. The research will identify the main types of injuries, their causes and direct consequences, and the emotional impact on athletes and their families, including stress, anxiety, and depression. The financial impact of injuries, such as medical costs and loss of income, will also be investigated. The study will examine changes in family dynamics, coping strategies, and available social support. Based on this, recommendations will be proposed to mitigate the negative effects of injuries, promoting resilience and mental health for athletes and their families.
