Abstract

This research examines the transformation of the pulp cluster at the Port of Santos and its implications for port logistics and the Brazilian economy. The study used data from FAO (2023), IBÁ (2024), ANTAQ (2023), IBGE (2024) and SPA (2025), as well as academic literature such as Costa and Lima (2020) and Chiavenato (2002). The effects of infrastructure expansion, multimodal integration and the specialization of the STS14 and STS14A terminals were analyzed. The results indicate that the port is establishing itself as a pulp logistics hub in Latin America, which is leading to increased exports, job creation and revenue growth. It can be concluded that the cluster goes beyond the operational level and becomes a driver of economic growth and sustainable development.
