Abstract

This work is justified in view of the challenges faced by refugeechildren in Brazil during the Covid-19 pandemic, a disease thathas plagued the global population since the end of 2019. Theobjectives set out were to analyze the phenomenon of migration,the reasons for migration and the specific forms of persecutionagainst children, as well as the challenges faced by refugeechildren in Brazil during the Covid-19 pandemic. Themethodology employed used a qualitative approach, and theresearch was descriptive. As for procedural methods, indirectdocumentation will be used as collection methods. Data analysiswill be based on a bibliographical review. In the end, there wasan increase in difficulties in accessing the rights proclaimed inthe national legal system in relation to refuge children during thepandemic state, due to the closing of borders, schools, sheltersand limited access to health.
