Abstract
This bibliographic research aims to understand the dynamics of psychopedagogical performance and the practice of counseling in this area. Based on the main scholars of Psychopedagogy: Porto (2011), Bossa (2011) Pain (1985), Echeita (2011), Rodríguez (2011), Gairín (2011), Fagali (2009) and Vale (2009) it was possible to understand that the counseling work has a preventive and interventional character with the actors that make up the school institution contributing with their practices, with the development of projects and actions that interfere significantly for an effective learning of the students. It is concluded that it is part of the psychopedagogical advisor's role to collaborate and promote interaction between all learning agents regardless of the functions that each one performs in the institution, since learning is not restricted to the systematic form, but also unsystematic. In short, the advisor shares his/her knowledge, promotes collaborative and effective work in educational institutions, with the main objective of ensuring the learning of those involved in the process.
