Abstract

The aging process in Brazil is increasing every year, and the number of elderly people is increasing. Gerontology, the science that deals with the elderly and their quality of life, determines that, in order for well-being during aging to be complete, it is necessary to have extensive activity in the physiological, psychological and social fields. The objective of this article is to demonstrate that technological activities aim to provide ideal environments for social inclusion in the digital world, in addition to ensuring cognitive activities and an adequate quality of life for elderly people. The bibliographic research is of a bibliographic nature and presents several cases that brought positive results for several interviewees from different financial and sociocultural backgrounds, regardless of where these elderly people were located.
