Abstract
We can say that autonomy and social inclusion are the main objectives of the Technology Assistive, it seeks accessibility solutions in order to provide better quality of life for individuals with special needs. The need for an effective plan of action for integrating people with disabilities in society grows gradually over the years. Thus, the Brazilian government was willing to devote efforts to purpose creating social policies that enable social inclusion. This paper aims to build upon the National Survey of Assistive Technology with the purpose of making a comparison between the current situation of Assistive Technology in Brazil and the proposed government action through new programs and public policies thereby, it raises the question as to the effectiveness of the actions about to consolidate program objectives and remedy the problems of accessibility.
