Abstract
This article presents reflections on the mediating role of the pedagogical coordinator in an interdisciplinary reading project called “Santos à Luz da Leitura” (Santos in the Light of Reading), developed by the municipal education network of Santos, which is implemented in its schools with the objective of promoting the promotion of reading and the articulation between Literature and Art. The municipal education network has 36 elementary schools and 16 elementary schools, and also maintains full-time units. To develop these reflections, we used documentary research on the formulation and implementation of the project. These documents are found in the Municipal Department of Education of the municipality. As members of this research, in addition to participating in the project both in terms of training the coordinators and in the development of the materials made available to teachers for the development of interdisciplinary practices to be carried out in the classroom, we compiled all the material developed in the schools.
