This work is inserted in the area of Education. It is a research linked to the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarship (PIBID) - Capes, of the Degree in Pedagogy, which takes place at Santa Cecília de Santos University. The PIBID has become a very important public policy of valorization of the teaching, enabling the graduates to act in their field of work since the beginning of their formation, the interaction with teachers and students of the basic education and the articulation between the university and the schools. . The theoretical foundation has as its main authors Maurice Tardif and António Nóvoa that focus on teacher education. Our goal is to reflect on the contributions, learning and challenges surrounding teacher education and the PIBID subproject. The research, therefore, will be developed in a qualitative approach, we will obtain reports of scholars linked to the subproject, and before that make an analysis of their contributions.
