Abstract
The language used in the most different contexts has characteristics that go beyond those we were used to in the 20th century, requiring everyone's skills to understand and know how to use it. Therefore, the school needs to fulfill its role, helping society to know how to understand how different languages are combined and, for that, the teacher needs to work in a perspective articulated to multiliteracies to develop students' skills that lead to an understanding of the world, of the functioning of society. Thus, the purpose of this article is to bring some reflections about literacies, multiliteracies and digital literacy.
