Abstract

Abstract From changes in pedagogical approaches in physical education arises the concept of bodily culture, which proposes a holistic view of the student. The expansion of this perspective aligns with interdisciplinarity, a practice that aims at teaching and understanding the interaction of disciplinary contents with the world. Thus, we propose to analyze interdisciplinarity in physical education, starting from concepts and illustrating practices. Through bibliographic research available on internet search tools, as well as Brazilian official works and documents from the city of Santos, we obtained references that establish a positive and feasible relationship between physical education and interdisciplinarity, through projects and, mainly, the thematic unit of games and play.
