Abstract

Autism is characterized as a developmental disorder. People with ASD have difficulties in their development, social interaction, behavior and communication. There is a growing representation and a struggle for inclusion so that these people can occupy different spaces seeking their independence. Considering the inclusion of TEA in the labor market is a right guaranteed by law. This article is a research based on the inclusion of people with ASD in the labor market. The objective is to investigate how the process of this representativeness and inclusion is going, the difficulties and personal challenges and how companies have been preparing to receive people with ASD. Through bibliographical research carried out in authors such as Oduvaldo Vendrametto, Rose Kelly Coelho and C. Melicio who addressed the issue. As we examined the articles and the book, as well as websites, newspaper reports, interviews and blogs. We conclude that the job market has had a positive improvement involving the inclusion of people with autism, there is recognition and respect related to their abilities and the work that has been carried out by them.
