Abstract
This paper aims to draw a parallel between theories of architectural restoration of goods to the preservation of real documentary. Showing that the methodologies used by some theoretical restoration of the nineteenth century could also be applied in the restoration of document collections. Showing that both one and the other has an important role in preserving the memory and subsequently to study the history of a certain period. Especially noteworthy that the action should be thought of restoring the smallest detail, because no matter how small, good historical undergo an intervention.
