Translation: a study of the state of the art Vasco Ginde de Oliveira, Irene Silva Coelho

Abstract

The objective of this work is to show how, through research in the depositories of academic papers from two public universities in São Paulo and an association of scholars and researchers of literature, it is possible to glimpse the state of the art of translation studies. This goal is justified by the fact that the research contribute to students and researchers in the field of translation. Abstracts were read and described in order to understand how far this academic genre allows the selection of relevant texts from translation studies.
