Abstract

The teaching of the Lusophone Literature is guaranteed by law at schools and universities. Africa is a great producer of this literature which values its roots and its people with its stories told from generation to generation. Mia Couto, Mozanbican author, is an example of a writer who brings to his woks, the orality largely present in his fellow countrymen’s life. The author reads his land where he finds material for his work and make us to reflect about the importance of valuing the oral communication and to notice its relation with the writing.
