Abstract

The present study seeks to analyze the pulp market in the national environment focused on exports, analyzing the impacts caused by the pandemic, exposing data obtained on the growth of the export of raw material, values ​​stipulated on the sale to the main pulp movers in the world and the values ​​stipulated for them to obtain the product and the overvaluation of long fiber cellulose. We also report the expansion of the market in the port of Santos, structural growth forecasts and market demand. Main areas that in the future will be destined for the storage of cellulose due to the great demand for it. We show the current data (2020/2021) generated due to the impact that the COVID19 pandemic caused, the importance of the product for the whole world, analyzing the area in which it obtained improvements in the destination of cellulose in export / import and more damage such as: o growth in long fiber imports for food, hospital, and e-commerce delivery packaging purposes, while the decrease in the use of cellulose for office and school supplies.
