Abstract

Knowing the importance of the Port of Santos for its region, this research aims to understand its evolution, so it is necessary to know its history and how its trajectory was before the city. The main goal is to show the impacts arising from the relationship between port and city, regarding the quality of life of the city's citizens in relation to the routine of port operations, as well as the entire urban mobility system. Exposing and exploring the new entrance to Santos and the benefits it can bring to the population, for the inflow and outflow of large vehicles in the port and to the environment. We will address the importance of the works for the growth of the port of Santos and the cities of Santos in the flow of vehicles. Research was carried out regarding the new entry of Santos, and perception of a good acceptance and perception of improvements in urban mobility in the region.
