The work at the end of this course is to investigate the situation of cabotage navigation in Brazil, by addressing the importance of this maritime modal for the economic development of the country, it reduces the imbalance in the transport matrix of Brazil as an incentive to multimodal transport, making the problems less apparent. logistics and infrastructure deficiencies that still affect this sector in Brazil. The method usedis characterized by qualitative research, whose data collection is based on bibliographic and bibliographic research, especially information from the databases of regulatory bodies and institutions of commercial navigation, followed by observations through analytical tools. A strategic analysis found thatthere is a significant opportunity for growth in cabotage shipping in Brazil due to the natural infrastructure of the Brazilian coast and the project that created the cabotage transport incentive program.
