This scientific abstract explores the competitive advantage resulting from the implementation of the Electronic Bill of Lading (E-BL) in international trade. The problem at hand involves examining the impact of transitioning from traditional paper-based Bill of Lading to the electronic format, with a focus on its implications for businesses engaged in global commerce. The study aims to assess the general objective of understanding how E-BL contributes to enhanced competitiveness and efficiency in international trade. Specific objectives include analyzing the cost-effectiveness, accuracy, security, and environmental sustainability benefits of E-BL adoption. The justification for this research lies in the growing relevance of digital solutions in global logistics and the need for empirical evidence regarding the advantages of E-BL in modern trade practices. The hypothesis posits that the implementation of E-BL electronic technology significantly improves operational efficiency and provides a competitive edge to organizations involved in international trade.
