Abstract

This article approaches the main difficulties in the logistics of maritime export of soluble coffee, exposing several factors, such as: increased freight, availability of routes, shipping agencies, cargo agents, availability of space on ships, short free time detention, lack of vehicles with a tracking and monitoring system, extra costs due to numerous changes in terminal deadlines, availability of equipment and new obstacles considering the pre and post Covid-19 pandemic scenario in foreign trade. The obstacles mentioned throughout the article generate several logistical problems, not only for soluble coffee exports, but for the entire international and national supply chain.
