Abstract

The need for a form of sustainable development has gained more and more notoriety in the port sector around the world, changing current processes in search of continuous growth and increased competitiveness thinking about future generations and ecosystems, has become a priority these days. of today. In view of this, the correct disposal of materials and waste in order to minimize the possible impact on the environment is extremely important for the sector. This article aims to analyze the Port Terminal of Angra dos Reis, (TPAR) and specifically, how a new Solid Waste Management Program can improve rates, increase its productivity and bring new investments to the terminal. Through bibliographic research, the methodology used in the article is exploratory-bibliographic.
