PROJECT MANAGEMENT CHALLENGES

Abstract

The purpose of this work is to present a new methodology for the effective management of smaller projects. For this, we adopted a combination of the efficiency of the PDCA Cycle and the best practices of the PMBOK Guide 6th edition. Establishing a well-founded methodology and following industry best practices significantly increases the likelihood of project success. The structured approach contributes to the identification of errors and deviations, making it more likely that the project will reach its objectives within the established deadlines and budgets, contributing to the mitigation of possible negative impacts on the project.
