URBAN MOBILITY SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF SANTOS-SP: PROJECTS AND MAIN CHALLENGES

Abstract

The urban mobility system in Santos is a complex challenge due to its characteristics as a port city, as well as being the metropolis of the Baixada Santista Metropolitan Region (RMBS), and because it has characteristics of a historical and tourist city. Carried out through bibliographical research, this work aims to cite the current system used and the measures implemented to overcome these challenges that require integrated urban planning, which considers all different modes of transport, their issues and the needs of the population.
