Abstract

This work aims to use the Weibull distribution to analyze the data obtained from the tests flexion of the prepared ceramic bodies of evidence according to the NBR 13818: 1997. The flexural strength to break of each specimen was calculated and the data obtained were used for a comparative analysis by Weibull distribution with two and three parameters. The results did not show a significant variation in strength to the bodies of evidence analyzed, but it indicated the presence of two different mechanisms of failure.
