Abstract
The present study shows complementation of the concepts of a method for measurement and veri-fication (M&V) which identified a clear and objective way the reduction of energy consumption and green-house gases emissions resulting from an energy efficiency project focused in driving systems. As a result, there was obtained an energy optimization of 1.982 MWh/year and consequently a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 136 tonnes of CO2 equivalent. In addition to the gains in sustainability, the implementation of energy efficiency project provided an annual savings of R$ 367.115.30.
