Abstract

The need to eliminate or minimize the occurrence of leaks and the obligation to comply with the Regulatory Standard13-NR13, took charge of the business and industrial activities to realize that these re-quirements represent an additional cost required, but can be reduced through planning inspection. This article aims to show that the correlation between deterioration mechanisms, operating conditions, materials and nondestructive testing allow the development of an inspection plan that meets all the above requirements with lower cost.
