Use of MATLAB Software for Hydraulic Calculation and Graphical Representation of the System Curve of a Pumping Station Edson Fouad Beck Filho, Dorotéa Vilanova Garcia

Abstract

The objective of this work was to present the hydraulic calculation and the graphical representation of a system Head x Flow rate curve of a pumping station using MathWorks software MATLAB®. Studies were carried out from the available literature, and after presentation of the necessary formulas, they were inserted with the necessary variables, after confirming the results, it was verified the possibility of using the software as an aid to mechanical hydraulics engineering calculations, especially pumping.
