Abstract

This article discusses the contribution of the Project Management Office (PMO) not only in assisting the Project Manager in achieving the planned objectives for their project with full success but also in assisting the company in achieving its strategic objectives. The PMO plays a central role in coordinating, standardizing, and monitoring projects, ensuring their alignment with the business strategy. In this work, some of the best practices for establishing an effective PMO are explored, which will support the Project Manager (PM) in achieving the expected success in their work, as well as the types of Project Offices, their assignments and expected benefits, and tips for implementing a PMO in a company.
