Abstract

The advancement of industrial automation has driven the need for increasingly innovative educational practices capable of providing students with a more efficient, rich and interactive experience in the teaching and learning process. This article describes the development of a teaching kit for industrial elevator automation, designed based on specific requirements for experimenting with essential concepts of the Automation and Control course, taught in a Mechanical Engineering higher education d. Analyzed from a teaching perspective, it is observed that the teaching kit, capable of providing an experience very close to professional reality, offers a real contribution to the teaching and learning of automation and control, which is also intended to be verified in future and specific research involving students as research subjects, who will analyze the efficiency of the kit presented here.
