Abstract

The globalized market increasingly demands more competitiveness from companies, and process optimization is vital to this evolution. Hiring third parties to perform services in which they are experts can be a strategy to be adopted, aiming to optimize resources and increase quality and productivity since the contracting company will be able to focus on its core activity. From this, the demand for contract management intensifies, establishing the rules for the relationship between contractor and contractor, aiming to reduce cost and risk and increase contract performance. When concluding performance-based maintenance contracts, the partnership relationship enters this bias since this contractual modality makes partners part of the business results of the contracting company.
