Abstract
Predictive analysis of lubricating oil is essential in the preventive maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. It involves regular monitoring of the physical, chemical, and performance properties of used oil, aiming to predict failures and ensure operational efficiency. Predictive analysis involves periodically sampling the oil in use for laboratory analysis. The aim is to diagnose the condition of the lubricant used in the equipment so that pre-trip planning can be carried out, increasing the system's reliability. The most widely accepted international standards are ISO 4406 and NAS 1638. The focus of this study is to describe and evaluate the structure of Predictive Maintenance in relation to oil analysis on oil platforms. The study consisted of analyzing the stages developed in structuring the Predictive Analysis in question, highlighting solid points, and proposing opportunities for improvement.
