Abstract
Today, in the midst of information, globalization and the demands of the market have made the search for talent in companies a very important factor for those who want to ensure competitiveness. They know that talented companies are the main asset of the company because they help them achieve their goals, lead with confidence and determination, are innovative, have entrepreneurial spirit and play a decisive role in decision making. Within this context, seeking and retaining talent so that the organization can rely on human resources to enable it to become competitive in the marketplace has become a growing challenge. Talent retention emerges as an alternative for organizations to stay on the market and to be recognized with a company that has good employees in their staff. The objective of this study was to identify, through bibliographical research, the profile of the ideal employee required by companies today, what factors can lead to the flight of talent in a company as well as its retention, while taking into account the role Of the leader in this process.
