Abstract
Sensory overload is related to the effects caused by excessive visual, auditory, and tactile stimuli on people's attention, self-regulation, and cognitive performance. This study seeks to investigate teachers' perceptions of Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) and the challenges they face in their practices. The methodology used is mixed, as it employs a literature review and exploratory research in order to better understand the phenomenon. Questionnaires are used with teachers at a school to identify what teachers think about the issue. The analysis of the responses is based on the assumptions of content analysis
