Abstract
The present article aims to understand how the influence of Generation Z can be used as a strategy for employee retention in modern organizations, focusing specifically on the role of the Human Resources sector. The methodology employed a combination of qualitative analysis through bibliographic references and quantitative analysis, based on the tabulation of results from a field survey conducted to study the real connection between the needs and demands that the market requires and offers to employees, specifically those from Generation Z. Thus, the expectation is that the article will contribute to the reflection of future Human Resources managers on the need to modernize and expand new means and methods for talent retention
