Legal considerations on the use of water resources available in the storm water channels of Santos – SP Luciano Cristian Cabral, Matheus Marcos Rotundo, Walter Barrella

Abstract

Because of growing water problems, alternative methods for using water available in urban environments are increasingly needed. Thus, legal processes on the use of water resources should be extensively reviewed and discussed if we are to sustainably manage the use of alternative methods. Using Santos' rainwater channels as a model, we discuss, based on bibliographical and documentary research, the legal framework to be considered in this reutilization / use of available resource system.
