Abstract

This article seeks – via bibliographic research and a case study - to go through the subject merge and acquisition of companies, focusing on people and organizational cultural clashes. The analyses showed that so as to reach a successful operation, nuances which involve the most valuable part of the companies – people - must receive special attention. In an operation of merge or acquisition the leadership, when they have a critical sight, track and is aware about how crucial this issue is, because it maximizes the chances of success both for preventing conflicts and manage the conflicts which may arise.
