Abstract
The distance between children and the natural environment is a frequent reality and causes numerous losses. We verified the importance of education through access and contact with a balanced and healthy environment, as a guide for environmental capacities and awareness through a review of the literature, the Federal Constitution, and norms. Studies point to improvement in school performance after contact with nature, showing that the natural environment is a north with the potential to restore cognitive functions in a short period of time.
