Abstract

This paper aims to present the effects on access to education and school dropout caused by the closing of schools due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To respond to this scenario, it made use of bibliographical research based on official documents, websites and scientific articles. The indispensable results are the challenges for the current context, making educational policies that universalize access to the internet necessary, so that the disadvantages of social origins are balanced and the right to education is respected. That said, responses to such pandemic reflexes on inequalities in access and school dropout, must come from the relationships that intertwine the State-school-student-family so that mutual support can provide the necessary support to settle the consequences brought about by the Covid pandemic -19.
