Abstract
The present text aims to propose a discussion about changes in pedagogical actions that aim at the articulation between the teaching-learning process and the interdisciplinary approach. In this perspective, specific disciplines come to be seen as instruments for the study and understanding of language, favoring a more contextualized and meaningful literacy. The methodology adopted is a bibliographic review based on authors who approach interdisciplinarity such as Thiesen, Paviani, and Fazenda. The interdisciplinary perspective offers the possibility for students to interpret reality and have a voice and space for action, as this approach incites curiosity and questioning of daily life and specific knowledge, and, above all, provides them with the conditions to find answers to their own doubts.
