Main Article Content
Abstract
The preservation of the natural environment is a vital necessity for current and future generations. The approach of this work is based on the experience lived in the Juréia-Itatins Ecological Station, using the bibliographic and legislative method on conservation units, traditional population, human dignity and the principle of proportionality. The aim is to reaffirm relocation as a political instrument that establishes proportionality in the conflict between the rights of traditional populations, such as housing, human dignity and cultural heritage, and the need to preserve nature.
