Abstract
Having the climate change impacts on human's health as a main approach, the present paper aims to analyze the legal development of the international environmental
agreements, and point out the current context regarding environmental politics. The systemic method is adopted in the present paper, considering climate changes as a
gear that needs to be regulated in a multidimensional way. In the same way, the deductive procedure method is adopted, concerning historical references. The result
is the current scenario, on which - despite being numerous the number of politics concerning environmental protection - frequent enviromental agressions occur and are the cause of countries suppression, emergence of new illnesses, re-emergence of others that were considered extinct and contemporary diasporas. It is discussed whether procedures that aim at reducing the emission of polluting gases, the waste production and adopting active transport policies would contribute to reducing the problem. Climate change is the real enemy to be faced, and this task does not belong to governments solely, but it demands a new global approach in order to warn that what is at stake is the survival of the humanity itself.
