The Geopolitical Relationship between Municipal Guards and Military Police of the State of São Paulo Adriano Marcos Rondello, Augusto César Leite da Fonseca

Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyze the geopolitical aspect of the Military Police of the State of São Paulo (PMESP) and the Metropolitan Civil Guard (GCM), in terms of integrated action with a view to maximizing presence and avoiding overlapping, aspect of the optimization of the distribution of assets in the geographic space of attribution, that is, the State of São Paulo and the municipal ones, respectively. The study demonstrated the need to exchange information, given the peculiarities of each force, such as contingent, available technological resources, training and constitutional attributions
