Abstract

This scientific article aims to demonstrate the possibility of applying, in a methodology that presents truly satisfactory results, the mediation of conflicts in the field of public security. Considered as the first stage of measures after measures of delinquency, contravention and other failures of order that have proved fruitless, mediation is usually used in the judicial system in an attempt to resolve various disputes involving the parties involved, together with an intermediary , responsible for signing and validating the terms of this adjustment. The insertion of this technique in the sphere of public security issues only becomes a facilitator of the controversies, allowing a valid match between the parties and thus inhibiting the unfolding of problems, most of the times small, in other situations of greater danger and more difficult resolution.
