Abstract
This paper is a brief analysis of the current panorama of mediation within the structure of the Brazilian Judiciary with a view to meeting the SDGs of the UN's 2030 Agenda. After a brief historical account, defining the institute based on the American concept of the 'open door system', and highlighting its importance in the legal scenario, data prepared by the report prepared by 'Justice in Numbers 2022' are presented, planning the current portrait of its management and respective successes in the Courts. In addition, due to the incipient positive results guided by the recent normative acts and measures adopted by the National Council of Justice as true instruments for promoting and implementing affirmative mediation policies,
