Abstract
This article aims to contextualize the theme of port work, highlighting the need to analyze the errors that generate costs and losses for the user in return for the profits earned for operators by committing these errors, as well as the importance of this operator versus user relationship within the sector. port for the country's economy, highlighting its relevance for foreign trade and the movement of goods. Non-compliance with current legislation and regulations will be addressed, as well as the insufficient availability of information, often confusing or even non-existent, which leads users and operators to errors whose losses are most often absorbed by the importer/exporter, and aims to seek solutions to this contradiction. Aspects such as infrastructure and superstructure of organized ports, main operations carried out and the complexity of port activities will also be covered. Finally, the importance of ensuring compliance of port activities with current legislation and regulations will be highlighted, in order to ensure efficiency and transparency in the port sector for greater safety of its users.
