Abstract

Through the analysis of the Trust structure, highlighted as a widely usedlegal instrument in the common law, the present study clarifies and points out the mainadvantages of the constitution of Corporate Healthcare Trusts in the management ofworkers health of a large company. Method: This study uses the qualitative scientificresearch approach, with a comparative study of Corporate Healthcare Trusts, and ispresented, evaluated and reflected, through the bibliographic material investigated, onthe advantages of its implementation in health management. Results: In this context,the work demonstrates the relevant theme of worker ´s health and wel fare in thecorporate environment, from the perspective of the United States of America and theUnited Kingdom. From the perspective of comparative law, the study presents the good results that can be achieved in managing the physical and mental health ofworkers through the organization of funds in trusts created specifically for this purpose,serving as a promising model for Brazil. Discussion: While large companies haveinvested in specialized health promotion and prevention programs, the study identifie sthe Healthcare Trust as a suitable alternative to private health business plans, withdetailed analysis of the ways in which Corporate Healthcare Trusts are formedobjective and subjective structure Conclusions: The work demonstrates that theCorporat e Healthcare Trust constituted for this purpose can, in a very careful andefficient manner, work on the development of projects related to worker's health in Brazil.
