Abstract
The objective of this study is to provide a detailed understanding of the illegal practice of medicine and to provide a more in-depth understanding of the profession of plastic surgeon. It will address the lack of accountability in the criminal sphere without specialization in the area. This is a fact that occurs daily through clandestine clinics, unethical doctors and patients who seek the long-awaited plastic surgery through more “affordable” means. The lack of a law that addresses this issue brings with it numerous problems to be discussed, since doctors commit a crime and get away with it and patients most of the time seek justice only in the civil sphere, as will be seen throughout this work. The need to implement a bill or an amendment will be addressed to regularize such an act and ensure that the agent in question is subject to the necessary sanctions.
