Effectiveness of Brazilian standards and public policies regarding the work environment André Luiz Abul Hiss Franco

Abstract

The work environment has a strong impact on society, as it is the source of human subsistence, where they develop work and social skills for about a third of their lives. The slave-like work in rural communities observed in February 2023 in Brazilian wineries is an example of the lack of implementation of public policies to guarantee rights and prevent problems. The existence of laws that aim to protect material and immaterial work practices are essential to prevent abuse and the sustainable development of the country.
